Donald P. Dietrich

Donald P. Dietrich, member of the Florida and New York Bar, served on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida as United States Magistrate Judge for twenty-five years, retiring in 1996. He has since been appointed to the United States District Courts for Northern Georgia, Southern Alabama, Eastern Tennessee and Middle North Carolina for extended periods covering vacancies in chambers.
On graduating from Duke University School of Law, J.D. '61, where he was First Associate Editor, Duke Law Journal, he served as Staff Judge Advocate and Legal Officer, Naval Air Station, Sanford, Florida and thereafter in the Naval Reserve as United States Military Judge, Navy and Marine Corps Trial Judiciary.
Presently, he is Captain, JAGC, USN Ret. Judge Dietrich is a member of the American Bar Association, Judicial Division, Litigation Section; the Federal Bar Association; and the George C. Young American Inn of Court.
Judge Dietrich will be Of Counsel to the firm and he will advise its trial practice.
